I was punched by thugs on my way home from Martines. SUN MAR 08 2009

A real great friend of mine decided he wanted some sweet shit after a night out in the now closed nightclub; Martines in Eastleigh, Hampshire, UK.   So under my direction we walked up to the Texaco garage in Southampton road and bought some midget gems or something.  Thugs in a car that passed us on the way back, no, hang on because now I recall that this bad event did not begin like that.  As we left Martines a group of individuals all of who were male told us that we were queer, I didn't see them they shouted from somewhere, a car perhaps.   They were in the car that passed us on the way back from the Texaco garage.   They stopped near the multi-storey car park in Southampton road and bundled out.   They chased my friend through the multi-storey car park all tooled up with bars and chains.  I was about ready to stand my ground hopelessly but my friend was quick and bundled over a bush then ran right through the car park at speed.  The thugs followed him and completely ignored me.  Jonathan made good his escape and I was left to wonder; where would I go?  This occurred around the time that gangs of armed dissidents from Bishops Waltham were coming into Eastleigh to attack the populace.  I assume the attacks were about making the public aware of some ancient dispute about where power should be seated because the civic offices are currently in Eastleigh but the Bishop who historically presided over the spiritual needs of the area cloistered himself in Bishops Waltham.  Well perhaps Bishop Waltham's community leaders could speak to members of a Christian denomination about having a Bishop seated there again.  African Evangelists want to bring the Gospel back to the people of Britain so perhaps a solution could be found there with them, they might be willing to send a missionary.

The tooled up thugs hadn't gone very far chasing Jonathan.  They were scanning the car park as I approached them as I headed towards the alley that leads through to Lloyds bank.  Reader be aware that I walked towards the thugs because, Well that's the way I was walking, that's it really, nothing much more.  Perhaps they were thinking about which bitches they could rape after splitting their husbands' skulls with bars.   Martines was a renowned cattle market, so perhaps they were thinking that they could laugh and shout something like; yoi, ten a penny, ten a penny, ten a penny five [a penny] as they shattered lives.  As I walked passed the thugs I told them that I wanted no trouble after which one of them punched me so I ran and met my mate, around Lloyds I think or a bit further on.  He wanted to go back and fight them but I didn't but I wonder if they killed anyone that night.  It was around that time that another friend of mine was assaulted on his way home and beaten with crow bars and such and by his account almost to death.  A resident stopped the slaughter but the thugs were gone before the police arrived and have not been brought to justice.  Adam showed me the blood stains that he left on the pavement some weeks after the attack and still knocks at the steel plate in his skull showing how it sounds through his open mouth which I think demonstrates through good spirit that unlike those thugs that attacked him he is a decent fella'.  I'm aware of an unsettling desire which I think is quite modern, that people placate agressors like those thugs and pass blame for the tragedies they plan, participate in and instigate onto victims like my friend Adam.  Some of the many victims of what seems to be the rampant liberalism here have become Eastleigh's untouchable caste whilst the violent criminals that attack them or intimidate them can be certain that they will not be held accountable if they are in employment.   Employed, infirm and young criminals are protected by their immidiate communities who value or revere them more than they see value in just outcomes and will not give them up unless they fear the criminals could harm them.  The attitude of the majority here suggests that we might have a pit of the debased to throw victims into.  There is no pit here though instead victims are left to suffer as undervalued, untouchable and unproductive.  Women just aren't interested in the bloke who had his dick touched or who has become unhinged for other reasons and men don't want the woman who got raped or who has become unhinged for any reason.  Adam was doing a brick laying course before the attack but didn't finish but set into a reasonably contented but, junky lifestyle so despite having a strong work ethic has not been able to contribute in the way I think he would have liked.  The police categorised the attack on him as an attempted murder so the case will never be closed and I'd like to think his attackers will be brought to justice so that he can have some peace so that he can get some pride again.  Sorry that's not for me to say nor to gauge his feelings but if you have any information contact me through this email address and I'll pass it on to him (Just click the link to begin writing an email in your email client then click the send button in the email client client).

Who knows where his attackers came from though but they probably were local.   Adam wasn't old enough to have any real enemies that I know of.  If there was any link between Adam and his attackers I think the police would have found it and I doubt the police had any reason to fudge the case so it probably was a predatory attack.  The thugs scoured the streets after closing and found him close to home and attacked.  Paul, a man I've known for a number of years, suffered an ambush style attack but unlike Adam he knew for certain the people who set the ambush for him, in the same period Adam was attacked, were from Bishops Waltham and went there to fight them, to re-assert himself, with friends but was turned away by the police.  Perhaps Paul and his accomplices were spotted during a routine patrol or perhaps the police had increased their presence in the area.  I suppose any violence in a small town like Bishops Waltham would be highly visible and placation would probably result in an overall reduction in the violence between the Bishops Waltham dissidents and the young people and drinkers in Eastleigh, which I suppose serves everyone other than the victims however who must find their own way to re-assert themselves or not if they are unable; that's a brutal double ended attack which must serve to further disempower victims.

Next week a new leisure and entertainment complex is opening in Eastleigh which although costly will provide a great opportunity for some under privileged residents in Eastleigh to socialise and have fun in a family friendly environment.   Unlike a pub an entertainment complex provides a great environment for people to socialise and develop new social skills much like a youth club or community centre does.   Eastleigh is a working town with a diverse population, areas of urban decay and some real deprivation but has no centre of community.  It houses industry during the day and night and provides entertainment for the whole borough at night.  The hard working people of the town and the many victims in it have earned this well deserved opportunity to build a small sense of community.  It would be shameful if thugs came into the town on opening day or shortly thereafter for any reason other than to socialise have fun and perhaps find a mate or any other legitimate peaceful reason aside from legal methods of manipulation for personal gain.
